Washington, D.C. — The National Institute for Lobbying & Ethics (NILE) today proudly announced its 2026 Leadership Team and Board of Directors, reaffirming the organization’s commitment to strengthening the lobbying profession through ethical leadership, professional development, and a member-driven vision.
NILE’s 2026 Executive Leadership Team includes Chairman of the Board Paul A. Miller, Miller/Wenhold Government Affairs. Miller, a long-time champion of ethical standards, professional excellence, and industry advancement, returns to the role with a continued focus on elevating NILE’s mission and supporting its diverse and growing membership.
NILE will be led by incoming President Larry Gonzalez with the Raben Group. Larry brings a long, distinguished history in the lobbying profession and a reputation that is second to none, making him the right leader to guide NILE to the next level as he builds on its strong foundation and leads the organization into a new era of growth, integrity, and impact.
“Accepting this role is more than a professional milestone, it’s a commitment to raising the bar for our entire field,” Gonzalez said. “Lobbying strengthens democracy only when every community is heard. Together at NILE, we will elevate diverse voices, challenge outdated norms, and advance equity as a standard of our profession.”

Gentile will transition into the Past Presidents role, while Gentile, Showalter, White, and Adler will all join NILE’s Presidents Council—created in 2017 to serve as a resource, sounding board, and support network for incoming presidents.
Their contributions have helped shape NILE into the respected, effective, and unified association it is today. They have truly been the difference.
Looking Ahead to 2026
NILE remains a member-driven association created by lobbyists, for lobbyists, committed to advancing the profession through ethical responsibility, high standards, and continued education.
President Larry Gonzalez has already begun preparations for an impactful 2026—focused on strengthening existing programs, expanding member value, and forging new partnerships with allied organizations to ensure NILE remains the leading voice for the lobbying profession.
